Rockstar has finally revealed Red Dead Redemption PC port for October 2024 release, along with Undead Nightmare.
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption, once considered one of the games industry’s worst-kept secrets, is no longer so. After an inexcusable amount of leaks, Rockstar has finally confirmed the open world port, as well as a PC version of its Undead Nightmare DLC, which will be available on the Rockstar Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store on October 29th, 2024. Imagine craggy old John Marston riding into town at twilight, screaming and shooting six-shooters towards the clouds. Actually, don’t picture anything; that’s what videos are for! Watch the announcement trailer below.
You may buy both Red Dead Redemption and Undead. Something the news release doesn’t mention is multiplayer. The console game let up to 16 barking buckeroos explore a variation of the single-player world. I recall having a great time with a preview build on Xbox 360, participating in Mexican standoffs and being knocked from my horse. But what I most remember and adore about Red Dead Redemption is how gloriously buggy game was at debut. Here is another, hilarious video.
That is all there is to say at this time. I’m not sure I’m eager to play the original Red Dead Redemption again, given that Red Dead Redemption 2 is already available on PC, but if you’re a die-hard Rockstar fan, it’ll help fill the vacuum until GTA 6 is released.
